Our two productions earned nominations across the board this year. The Pink Hammer, written by Michele Amas and directed by Kate Birch, also received nominations for Best Lighting Design (Parag Londhe and Crystal Livingstone), Best Set Design (Jazzmin Heaven), Best Stage Management (Marissa Willson and Rana Kirhan), Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy (the whole cast), and Best Direction (Kate Birch).

Cosi, written by Louis Nowra and directed by Ami Coster, picked up eight nominations: Best Makeup & Costume Design (Liz Cannon and Jimmy Carrick), Best Properties Design (Cast & Crew), Best Lighting Design (Parag Londhe, Matt Goldsoro, and Niv Verlinsky), Best Performer in a Minor Role, Comedy (Alison Leonard), Best Performer in a Supporting Role, Comedy (Louisa Huchinson and Paco Galvez), Best Ensemble Performance in a Comedy (the cast), and Best Comedy.

Behind every nomination is a team of people who give their time generously. Special mention to Paul Topliss, who worked tirelessly on props and set for our productions. His contribution was central to what you saw on stage, and it deserves to be said out loud.

The Phoenix Theatre team who attended had a wonderful evening, and the celebrating that followed was well earned. We're already looking forward to what comes next.
