Phoenix Theatre FREE membership is open for the 2026 / 2027 season. We're a community of people who love making theatre together. Whether you're a performer, a backstage legend, a first-timer, or someone who just loves being part of something creative, membership is your way in.

What you get as a member

• Early access. Hear about auditions and Phoenix news before the general public.
• Members pricing. Pay less on tickets to our shows.
• Voting rights. Have your say on important decisions about the company's future.
• Workshops and masterclasses. We're planning discounted access to expert-led sessions across a range of theatre skills. You told us this is something you'd love, so we're working to it happen.

But if it's free, why do I need to sign up?

Under previous incorporated societies legislation, groups like Phoenix could operate with implied membership. If you were involved in a show, you were considered a member automatically.

New legislation has changed that. Phoenix is now required to maintain a confirmed membership list, with members renewing annually. Since we want membership to remain free, we need another way to keep that list current, and that means asking you to opt in each year.

We promise it's a simple process.
